what a day!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got our new vanity 75% hooked up, my drawer glued together and clamped. in 24 hours we will be able to repair the rest of the drawer and then finish replacing the backwall of my research closet, which I down sized 80%. This has been a very productive day. Tomorrow I will be back at work. In this work i make a difference. and I love that I am starting to get tiref so I will call it a night

Oh good water is back

My Bathrooms are finished. I am so excited Today we will put the new vanity in

We have water back and construction is finished

Sadly my daughter is sick with a cold, but she slept all day so hopefully she will feel better tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be able to use the Master bathroom again the grout will be cured. My daughter picked out the tiles for me, she has extremely good taste

progress wiyh my lampshade project

Today after my annoying headache went away, I was able to put up about 5 or so charms on. The reason for my slow progress is, that I have run out of lobster claw clasps. They are on order, but have not arrived yet. My 5mm split rings have arrived and I have put the rings on my stars to go on my shade. Over all this has been a good day.

7th day no water but the state has been called in to help

thete I found a nintendo Ds game to design your own jewlery. I cannot wait to get it my daughter gave me her DS lite to use , so I am all set. hopefully they will find the waterproblem soon. An update on my last beading project my lampshade. I am about 20 splitrings short but artbeads should have mailed them out already

THE NIGHTMARE

we have e coli in our water as there is a water main break-----WAIT WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY WATER IN 6 DAYS WE ARE MELTING SNOW TO FLUSH TOILETS

Emergency oil delivery came tonight

From 40 f to 56f we are making progress My toes are warm again

Now we have another Blizzard and we ran out of fuel

So the emergency delivery will be there within 24 hours BRRRRRRRRRRRR

aother day without water

Appearently there has to be a leak somewhere under x amount of feet of snow. I guess I will be melting snow again tomorrow for flushing toilets.

On the 4tg day without water

They trucked in some water. we still are restricted in using water for showers dishes and laundry. Iam grateful for not having to melt toilet flushing water

For the 3rd day we have no water 200 houses live on this line and the top 20 houses run out of water first, as we live on top of the catamount Hill. I am getting quite adept at washing my hair with water warmed on the stove, and flushing toilets with melted snow.I remember my norwegian Girl Scout days from Long ago ( smirk)

as you can see in the picture I am not quite finished placing charms on the ribbon. If I had more split rings, and also more lobster clasps. The rest would be easy. Never fear, ARTBEADS IS NEVER FAR AWAY so i can order replacement parts again. Of course I will have more stash to store again. >.^^.<

i recommend the book by Rhonda Byrnes today I found 400$ Ok I misplaced them last april, BUT as I am preparing for house renovations I am also fixing up some items and found an unpaid bill with 2 money orders in it. Of course expired but the bank I frew it on still will return my money.I might give some to the K9 fund in town

A blizzard of great proprtions

Today is a snow day and my center closed for 1/2 day, then for the rest of the night.We were already on the way and turned back. we had not gotten far.

So we were able to do some clearing of more storage areas. I used to quilt with a passion and have 2-3 books on my night stand all the time to read. Now I am not so active with sewing anymore. My daugther will be 14 next 2 months and it is a full time job to parent one.

Beading is like a meditation for me, it focuses my thoughts and gives peace.

I will get new bathroom floors this week and after that the bathroom furniture will be back where it belongs. We were able to repair some items in the house today as well, and since this was an unexpected day off, I made 1/2 of my lamp shade decorations. Plus I was able to put some charms together that always makes me feel so much better

My mom made mayonaise from scratch today, and I am so proud of her!!!!!!!
I made Norwegian Lapskaus beef and potato stew it tastes really good if you use steak tips fresh from the butcher. Today we empied out another storage section and guess what. only about 5% is worth saving. Now I am tired again, and back to work tomorrow. I look forward to this week, as I have Thursday off and I work the weekend, which is always busy

we are getting nrw bathroom floors

So in order to move the furniture out of the master bathroom i have been emptying furniture and cleaning . we are not quite sure of the date of the constructuon, so pressure is ON!!!

we also took down the Christmas Tree and stored that as well, plus I taught my mom to make home made mayonaise from scratch. we are making chicken salad for tomorrow . No wonder I am pooped

the first blog of the year

01/01/11 what a date we had a sip of wine at midnight and were at home. I was offered to change my hours and got home early. I avoid traffic and drunks if at all possible.
I did not get to wash the pup, but I will try for that event tomorrow
